Kim founded BodyMoxie in 2014 with the goal of putting people’s health in their own hands.  Using the Pilates method, she has worked with people from all walks of life,  ranging in age from 15 to 98 years, to help them restore physical agility and mind body awareness.

We believe in making real change with mindful workouts. Our approach is rooted in balance, efficiency and breath integration. This is NOT a “no pain, no gain” mindset. Liberate yourself from destructive movement patterns to be your healthiest and happiest!

Kim is certified by the Kane School of Core Integration in NYC. She came into Pilates with dance training and personal experience with abdominal surgery. Her teaching is shaped by what she has learned form her clients, collaborations with colleagues, partnerships with physical therapists, chiropractors, and bodyworkers; and ongoing studies with experts in anatomy and movement fields.

In 2013, Kim was selected by Erika Bloom Pilates in NYC to bring her method to Amanyara Resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Kim lead the resort’s Pilates program for its first two seasons, and consulted on spa and wellness integration.

As an educator to Pilates instructors and bodyworkers, Kim has led education workshops in the areas of injury rehabilitation, cross-training for athletes, osteoporosis treatment and fall prevention for seniors.

Kim holds a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. She founded NYC arts collective Banana Peel Dance, which performed extensively in NYC, receiving university commissions and residencies with Silo at Kirkland Farm (PA), White Pines Productions (PA) and Firkin Crane (Ireland). Kim led youth dance programs with United Nations International School, Liberty Science Center and NYC public schools.
